Because of the diversity of our programs a wide range of opportunities are available to fit your schedule, abilities, and talent, such as:
Senior Dining Older adults, as well as volunteers of all ages are encouraged to volunteer at senior meal sites located throughout Milwaukee County in a variety of duties that help to provide nutritious meals and socialization opportunities for older adults.
Good Neighbor Project Able-bodied volunteers of all ages assist with outdoor chores, such as snow removal, lawn cutting and leaf raking.

Neighborhood Outreach Neighborhood offices, located throughout Milwaukee County, depend upon volunteers of all ages to help provide practical assistance to help frail or isolated older adults remain living in their own homes.

  • Provide Transportation
  • Provide Friendly Visits
  • Provide office/clerical help
  • Assist older adults with paperwork
  • Assist with special projects & events
  • Serve on Board of Directors
RSVP Volunteer Program RSVP invites people age 55 and better to volunteer at Milwaukee County non-profit agencies. Put your experience to work to meet your community’s needs. Find a wide variety of opportunities to match your interests
Senior Centers 5 Senior Centers, located throughout Milwaukee County, depend upon adult volunteers to help provide assistance with recreational and educational opportunities geared toward diverse groups of older adults.

  • Facilitate program instruction
  • Assist with clerical work & database entry
  • Assist with administrative duties
  • Help with gardening & landscaping needs
  • Assist with special projects & events
Foster Grandparent Program Volunteers over 60 years of age are matched to work with special needs children in schools, clinics and Head Start sites.

  • Commitment requires average of 20 hours a week & a love for children
Telephone Reassurance Volunteers assist senior citizens who have no daily contact with people that are concerned about their welfare or personal well-being by making one or two daily calls to program recipients.
