Volunteer NOW to help with yard work for an Older Neighbor

Many older neighbors need your help doing yardwork throughout the year: spring, summer, fall and winter!

SPRING brings the call for help with yard clean up and lawn care for our older neighbors living through out Milwaukee County.

Hundreds of requests for help with lawn care are made throughout spring and summer.  Volunteers help throughout the season with yard work.  This is often a great group project.

Being a "good neighbor" makes a big difference for an older adult.

The Good Neighbor Project matches able-bodied volunteers of all ages to assist with these outdoor chores throughout the year:  snow removal, leaf raking, yard clean-ups, summer lawn work, etc.

GOOD NEIGHBOR VOLUNTEERS can:

  • Arrange Flexible Commitments
  • Help Out for a Season or All Year Long
  • Perform One Time or Repeat Group Projects
  • Get Assigned Matches Close To Home or Work
