Help an Older Neighbor this Winter

Many older neighbors need your help doing yardwork throughout the year: spring, summer, fall and winter!

Autumn brings the call for help to get the yard ready for winter.  Winter brings the call for help with snow removal.

Hundreds of requests for help with snow shoveling and yard care are made throughout the year.  Volunteers help throughout the seasons; many projects are great for groups.

Being a "good neighbor" makes a big difference for an older adult.

The Good Neighbor Project matches able-bodied volunteers of all ages to assist with these outdoor chores throughout the year:  snow removal, leaf raking, yard clean-ups, summer lawn work, etc.

GOOD NEIGHBOR VOLUNTEERS can:

  • Arrange Flexible Commitments
  • Help Out for a Season or All Year Long
  • Perform One Time or Repeat Group Projects
  • Get Assigned Matches Close To Home or Work
