Warm Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Now that I have your attention ~ Can you spare a few hours to help bake these delicious cookies for hospital patients?  This is a new program being offered at West Allis Memorial Hospital.  They are seeking pairs of volunteers to take a cart with a special cookie oven that they take to different areas of the hospital. The cookie dough is all pre-mixed and formed into little frozen chunks that the volunteers put on cookie sheets and bake. The aroma of fresh cookies fills the area and brings a homelike atmosphere to an otherwise usually antiseptic smell.
