Welcome to the McGovern web site.  Looking for a new hobby, exercises to keep your mind and body in shape, or just some place to hang out with really nice people?  Well, you’ve found the right place.

Need to shape up?  Take part in an aerobic exercise class, our walking group, the Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program, or use our state-of-the–art fitness equipment.  Maybe the muscle you want to exercise is your mind.  Our computers with Internet access will allow you to research your favorite topic or send e-mail to family and friends.

For an investment of $15 and 14 days of your time, our Lapidary (rock polishing) and Silversmithing instructors will teach you all you need to know to change ordinary rocks into beautiful pieces of jewelry. 

For those of you with more domestic interests we have a monthly cooking class (with samples of course!), quilting, crafts and basic sewing.  Join us for lunch in our Dining Site and stay for the Music Appreciation class. Cards, shuffleboard, dart ball, bingo, billiards, and so much more.  Don’t forget all the friendly people.  Why don’t you come and check us out for yourself?  See you soon!
