JOB TITLE:

Personal Care Worker

REPORTS TO:

Personal Care Plus+ Office Manager

DUTIES:

Provide assistance to individuals in their homes with personal care and/or homemaking tasks.

Complete required paperwork in accordance with agency policies (ie: timesheets, visit reports).

Maintain knowledge of job skills through initial and ongoing training programs provided by employer.

Ability to meet transportation requirements to provide in-home services to clients, and attend required meetings and/or trainings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Training, experience or interest in helping Older Adults to remain in their homes.

Ability to relate well with individuals who may be elderly/disabled/frail/culturally diverse.

Honest and trustworthy.

Ability to organize time to ensure punctuality with scheduled assignments.

Ability to communicate both orally and in written form with staff and clients.

An understanding of the mission and goals of Interfaith.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must pass the drug screen and tuberculosis test.

Must be bondable.

Must have a working telephone. 

Must complete required training. 

POSITION:

PERSONAL CARE PLUS+ WORKER

HOURS:

Flexible: Days, Occasional Evenings, Nights, Weekends, Part-time, Limited Full-time.

SALARY:

$8.30 per hour, $9.30 per hour for weekends

LOCATION:

Based out of Central Office
Services provided in clients homes

BENEFITS:

Training, quarterly in-services, mileage reimbursement between assignments.
